Reverse tilting mirrors

Guys,

It seems that only the passenger mirror tilts when reversing, is that right?

I'm both surprised and disappointed by this.

I was very pleased to find out that the position to which it tilts is configurable, that's great.

Anyone know if I can make it tilt both, or change which one is being tilted *as* I go to reverse.

Seems odd to assume I'm always reversing perpendicular on the left.
By odd, I mean stupid.

I honestly don't know! I never looked at the coding of a driver's door module to see if mirror dip can be enabled - one thing for me to experiment with when my C7 arrives...

Assuming this can be coded with VCDS, I imagine it would just be a case of moving the mirror selector knob to the relevant door position before engaging reverse.

Less than 4 weeks until I can check :)

Switching the mirror selector knob is how it works on mine - whichever mirror is selected is the one that dips. In winter, remember to switch back to the "centre" position as otherwise the mirror demist doesn't work. I don't understand this "feature" but that's the way it works...
