plastic fog light surround fell off, easiy to reattach a new one?

hi,

I was on a motorway last week and heard a bang come from the front of my car, which i thought was a branch. When i got home i found a gaping hole where plastic fog light surround usually is!

There seems to be a lip running around the edge of where the surrond would sit. hopefully this is just a snap in job?

Correct you just need to buy a new one. I would think about using a small amount 'soft' glue like evo stick on the lugs to keep it snug but allow it to be removed if need be.

Pretty sure it would be a snap in job ... but I don't think you can get them on their own if you've lost yours :(

Happened to me last year. About £20 for a replacement from the dealers, and just snaps in.

I replaced 2 on my A6 after I added DRL's into them. They cost less than £9 for the pair from my local dealer and were simply snap in fittings
