Hi,
My clutch pedal on my 2000 PD tdi is sticking.
It just does spring back up and stays at the floor.
& there is a pretty major leak that means the brake and clutch fluid needs topping up every couple of days.
I was originally told that this was due to the gearbox cylinder needing to be replaced-which I had done, after a little while it has started again and now I've been told it is the pedal cyclinder that needs replacing.
As far as i can see there are only Master and Slave cylinders not pedal and gearbox - please clarify.
Is this correct or are they telling porkie pies ?
After having a browse of images i can confirm that the slave has been replaced.
Does the Master need replacing too or does it just need a good bleed??
Or could it just be thne pipe between master and slave.
Just to add I have just found info on the web.
