RS4 front grill for an A4 3.0 tdi Quattro S-line Black edition - 2012 facelift

Hi guys, I have an A4 2012 facelift model and was wondering if anyone knows if you can replace the standard S-line front grille for the RS4 grille. I posed this question to my local dealer who was reluctant to help and said that a lot of cutting would have to be done???

Has anyone else changed their grille?

Well the B8 RS4 hasn't been released (pics have been released though - http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?129497-B8-(or-B9-)-RS4-leaked-pics ) but when comparing the SLine facelift grill and Rs4 grill they look pretty similar in shape.

I think you are getting confused with the B7 RS4 (the previous RS4) and this is where the dealer says a lot of cutting would be involved.

Thanks so much Chris for speedy reply and useful info. I will challenge my dealer when I pick up new car next week and find out when the RS4 grill is available. the guy in parts said the grill would be approx £350-400? would this be right or is there anywhere else I could try that you know of? Cheers

i saw one online shop with rs6 grill so maybe they will have rs4 as well
