Hello all,
Im after a bit of help with two problems my Bora TDi has:
1. Steering seems rather sloppy and vague, with a tendency to drift to the left. The steering wheel seems to settle a bit off centre too, and the car needs constant correction to maintain a straight line.
Could this be a prob with bushes etc?
2. There is an idling problem when the engine is cold/not fully warmed up. The car shakes, as though it is going to cut out, and the rev counter fluctuates slightly and there is also a slight knocking/rumbling noise. It seems that if I turn the Climate Control on the problem goes away, however if I use 'ECON' mode the car shakes.
When warmed up there's no hint of a problem. VW can't find anything wrong.
Anyone got any ideas?
The car is a TDi Sport 130 on a 53 plate.
