No problem,
I think if you post 10 answers or posts, you'll be able to Pm me, unless the rules have changed.
Another way out is for you to generate a sacrificial email address and leave it on here for me to get in touch privately, then loose the email address once finished.

I didn't catch 5m4 reply before posting, luckily you now have a choice.

Cheers both, much appreciated!

I guess Cardiff would be easier, thanks for both replies though.

would it be possible for you to pm me so we can exchange details? I have no experience of VCDS so I really need your help!

essentially I have an intermittent fault with my EPC, have changed the switch but its still there!

would welcome any help.

matt

hi john - mandy, iv done loads of looking online, to find out about the clocks and airbag etc, need a skc number which i dont have for the clocks, something to do with immobiliser, there are programs that can get it, but takes hours apparently, but i really need to test central locking. if i could plug yours in it would be great. il pay the fee and maybe we can both take a look :D

VCDS doesn't retrieve the SKC or pin number, there are 2 ways to get it, a locksmith or a dealer. There are cables available to retrieve the pin usually takes under a minute
