iPod Nano 1st Gen Recall Program

Heard word of this from a work colleague a couple of months ago.

Basically Apple are recalling certain 1st Gen Nano's due to a battery fault. In return they will send you a brand new 6th Gen 8GB model.

I got mine in the post today

That's great customer service I wish they would do the same thing with the 1st Gen Ipod touch no more updates make them pretty poor on the app store.

This is great. I got mine around then too.

It went well with the Dension icelink in the Bora (though it didn't charge, like the 1st gen did). Now I don't need it as the MMI CD Changer in the Le Mans plays MP3 CDs.
