Audo 80 1.9 TDI battery wont hold charge...

Hi,

Here's whats been happening - any advice would be gratefully received! Thanks

2 weeks ago, car cuts out when maneuvering out of a parking spot - takes a few turns to get it going but then ok - never happened before.

2 days ago - reversing into a parking spot and engine dies. Turns over but wont catch. Battery drains the more I try.

Yesterday - starts ok with jump leads - ok at traffic lights etc until I'm reversing into parking spot and once again dies, wont restart. Battery once again dead

had that happening once to a b5 audi a4 v6 tdi, replaced the reverse light switch and the fault cured. it was only happening in reverse !

If it is being given a charge and there is no parasitic drain, fit a new battery.
