Just looking for some opinions on Audi complete. I will be taking delivery of my S4 on May 1st and I am going to Purchase the 5 year warranty with it at a cost of £905. I have been mulling over the possibility of getting the Complete package which covers everything bar Insurance and tax for 3 years, it also includes a 5 year warranty for £66 per month. Taking into account that the warranty split over 3 years costs £25 per month which means that the rest of the package will cost me £41, meaning that for £492 over the year all of my services (I'm opting for the yearly service) maintenance and Tyres plus the first MOT are covered. Is this a good deal.

If someone with an S4 (or A4 with 19" wheels) could give me an idea of service and Tyre costs for the year it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

Hey - my 19'' tyres just cost me £916, and that was after much searching and internet discounts applied! They can last from 15k - 30k miles, so i depend it comes down to your mileage and use over the year.

And to add to that the cost of serving:
Circa £270 for the first service at 17500 miles
Circa £350 for the second service at 37000 miles
And that's on variable servicing.

No answer on rs246 yet?

Thanks for that, from the info I'm getting at the minute it doesn't seem worth it. I've got 2 months to make my mind up.

All of the forums seem quiet at the minute.

bear in mind it also covers brake disks and pads, quattro diff oil change etc, i think its a good deal for £41/month. Tyres are at least £200 each and you will get through a couple of those a year?

Unfortunately it doesn't cover the brakes, only if they wear out due to a fault within the first 6 months or 4 thousand odd miles (can't remember the exact mileage) I'm also going to get a set of 18" winter wheels so I'll probably get 2 years out of the 19" tyres that come on the car.

Thanks for all of your replays, it doesn't seem like many people have taken the Audi complete up and I think I'll be going along with them.

Thanks for that mate, I'll ask my dealer. If brakes are included I may well go for it.

If you drive an S4 like it is meant to be driven i would be amazed at the original tyres lasting two years, unless it's a weekend only car of course.

The 2 years is only due to the fact that I'll be running winter wheels on it for 3 -4 months of the year. My last S4 went through 1 set of tyres per year so I'm not expecting miracles!
