So, coming from the world of Renault we had a tuner from Leeds who was the Dog's danglies at tuning them. Everybody seemed to use him and his reputation was second to none. I take tuning very seriously. Ive seen the evidence of poor mapping and cheap boxes.
Is there the same thing in the VAG world and if so, who and where are they?

every manufacturer has its specialists,each one of them are different. Its down to experience & who you trust.

I see you are in newtown, not to far from myself.

Where abouts are you then mate? Have you had any experience with any tuners then?

I am in Telford mate, there is a company local to me who is ex VW tech & does tuning, servicing & diagnostics.

if its the place that i think you're on about, he's pretty poo hot at mapping VAG cars too! lots of 1.9TDI's with good power and torque that they've done. :)

If you are after something superb then I am a agent for Dahlback Racing. I know it's only my opinion, but being the tuning business I have been able to try various maps from different tuners and Dahlback racing are the best that I peronally have used.
