Dodgy Air Con

Hope you don't mind but just jumped over from the A6 forum (a bloke has to have one big thing in his life! :Blush2:

Can anyone help here please.

Just picked up a very nice A2 for my son, problem is the digital air con blows out warm/hot air? Tried all the settings and all available changes but it still blows out hot air.

The car itself is a 90BHP 1.4TDi in excellent condition with 75K on the clock. The air con being the only obvious issue at the moment besides the odd alloy kerbed.

Any help would be great fully appreciated.

You could have an air distribution flap stuck

An air distribution flap! That really sounds like A&E to me :-)

Looking to find someone with a VCDS in my area now :-)

There are a few flaps. 1does air direction another will direct air at the matrix to give you warm/hot air.
Have look under the pollen filter and see if there is a flap closed.
Have you tried asking on A2owners forum.
