I'm a bit of a Sado on cars but ordered my CC de-badged as I didn't think of it as a "Passat" and definitely didn't want the the "bluemotion" badge. I bought some alternative badges and after nearly 12 months I finally got round to putting them on. Any comments welcome.

Honestly? Debage it.

That GT looks out of place with that CC and boots are a PITA to wax with badges on them ;)

PITA to wax with badges on them

Found that out yesterday. Resisted the temptation to put them on for 12 months and main reason for posting is that I'm still not sure if they look right. All comments welcome. GT is original Golf item but the CC is cheapo item.

x2 take 'em off - it doesn't look good. At all.

Looks a bit 'chavy' with those badges, I think it would look better without them. I quite like the bluemotion badge, a common sight on VW's these days and shows it's the later model.

Due to popular demand - and some fishing braid , the rear end now looks like this :

Much better! I second that !
I'm even tempted to black out the VW badge on the rear.
I don't like any badges - but the Bluemotion ones... yuk. just more advertising the V.A.G.

BTW: looks like it could do with a wash :biglaugh:

First black car I've had (my wife's had 3, so I've got no excuse) bloody nightmare to keep clean and marks so easily. Looks great when it's clean though ,which is normally only for a day after it's been done.

Mine is the first black car I have had. The CC looks great in black, when polished.
After posting the comment, I had to go out and wash mine ! Still not as spotless as yours though.

The other half has been suggesting a set of mud flaps... I see you have a set - do you think they make a real difference to keeping it clean?

They do keep a lot of the muck off the sides, especially flecks of tar.
