Just a few Problems on my MK3 Driver

Hi all

I'm new to the forums and havent had my golf that long, Its a 1.8 driver mk3


The in car fan only works on setting 4, nothing else.
Speedo works intermittent, some days it works for about 8 miles then stops! it basically just turns on and off, Is there a speedo cable or sensors if so where are they (its engine code is ABS)Any help would be very much appreciated

Hello There,

The problem with your heater motor fan speed will be the resistor pack which you will find right next to the motor unit on passenger side kick well, It is a seperate part and is very easy to change and easy to order from your local dealer.
As for your speedo, check the connection to the speedo sender on the gear box for corrosion
