Random coilover question....

Hi folks bit of a random question but does anyone know if the coilovers from my 1999 passat b5 fit a 2001 b6 Audi a4.......I've not looked at the suspension on they'd I yet but I'm pretty sure it's just a passat underneath though bu not sure, anyone help???

The front suspension of the 8E A4 was quite heavily revised from the previous 8D that was almost the same as the 3B Passat and I suspect that the parts will not go over as there are some top mount differences

The rear suspension design of the 8E is completely different to that of a 3B Passat, the former being fully independent and the latter being a torsion beam.
