Hi,
I went to VW for some work on my Golf Plus yesterday and whilst there I saw a nice looking set of roof bars. £140 which is quite expensive but thought as I need a set why not?
I then find out that I have to pay £70 +vat for a fitting job at least 12 hours before you put the roof bars on. Something about the bars cause the door seal to stop working without a special seal. Also if it did not work and my car got wet I would have to sort it out myself, they would not be resonsible!!
Has anyone had a set of these bars fitted.
Also is there anyone here who also has a Golf Plus. Like to here from you if so.
