I am beginning to think that perhaps a new car is the answer, although I love my Audi.
What I need to do is to remove the dashboard so that I can access my speedometer.
Is there an easy way? Failing which can anyone recommend a place where I could obtain a handbook for this model. I need a comprehensive manual which will include removing the dashboard. Many Thanks to all.

I used to love our 87 type 44 5 cylinder Avant, I re-bored it out the 2335cc, big valve head etc etc, it went very well and sounded fantastic through its Sebring exhaust. I have not worked on a type 44 for a while but I cant remember having to pull the facia to remove the instruments. This is the book I used and still have tucked away somewhere.
