Hi all i have a audi q7 with excess smoke, slight misfiring, engine has slight knock just like a diesel knock. we have injector tested,with no fault found,also has later injector fitted,all injector are coded to car. we cant do a compression check as are gauge will not fit in.removed no1 & 3 glow plug n0 2 would not come out cyliner head no3 glow plug very wet no 1 nice grey,brown as you would live to see. we have replaced no 3 injector. i did read about inlet freezeing up with intrest but feel the noise on air filter side.we have smoke tested inlet manifold with no leaks found, air filter very dirty but felt dry.
read fault codes only code that was in there was inlet manifold flap sensor but cleared down.
we have use of autologic. doth timming chains have problems.:zx11:
