B7 Passat estate Sport BM 2011 MY - Radio problem on RNS315 with DAB

Hi All,

I reported a problem to my dealership when I took my B7 Passat in recently. When we start up with the stereo switched on to the radio (DAB mostly). No sound come out of the speakers until, you switch channels or change the source to CD etc. This happens frequently when the car has be stopped for some time like over night, but is intermittent. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a fix?

Mine does this intermittently, also get no sound while it is syncing with the phone so assume the two are related.
