I did it! Being a pro painter does pay back after all :):Blush2: just had front plate of cup holder repainted retaining original symbol (as close as possible for my skills) Will post pics later this evening for your judgement

Did the same with coin tray but couldn't be assed with symbol.Lol

Next in the list coin tray and buttons. Cup holder used to look a lot worse than tray

great job, looks good in that light anyway. My climate control and radio buttons are ****** but cannot seem to find a suitable repair guide. really annoying as I don't want to attempt a repair unless i'm happy it won't look completely stupid in the end.

Long story short-I've cut it out from piece of special tape I use at work (I'm an aircraft painter). It was a bit of a pain in 'you all know where' as you need very steady hand, my hands aren't that steady lol

Thanks. I'm currently looking for way to make stencils for all those bits that tend to flaking and fading. If I find it, I'll be able to offer repair for all those mentioned plus head light switch.

Very good job,what paint did you use and what was involved in the prep.

I've used PU Matt black paint and primed it before painting. Biggest job was to cut out cup symbol, rest is easy

An update. Now I have a second cup holder and can compare the one I've painted to the original :)

Looks good! Get a fascia on that radio and sort out that hazard button! ;)
