Hi!
Unfortunately my 2 month old Polo was bumped into from behind and the damage appears to be very slight.
On closer inspection, the top edges of the sides of the bumper which normally sit flush with the body (uppermost near the wheel arch), appear to be sticking out by about 2 mm. This is on both the L/H and R/H sides of the car.
I have the impression that the whole bumper was pushed into the car and the bumper's sides kind of popped out a bit.

The boot door is not damaged in any way and the reversing sensors are OK too.
The bumper has apparently done its job well:Blush:

Can anyone give me a few pointers about how to remove the bumper to inspect for any other damage and set the gaps/fit right?
I did look at the HOW TO section and looked at the bumper installation icw tow bar on a Golf. The set up looks very similar to my Polo, but I would be grateful for more Polo-specific tips/pitfalls before I start.

all replies appreciated,
Thank you.

Thanks Crasher!
Just what I wanted. Does not look too complicated. A picture says a thousand words.
Cheers!
