1600 fastback

I have been offered a fastback 1600 c/w reecefish carbs been sat in a garage for 8 years a bit rusty, will prob need new torsion bars on front suspension is it worth buying as a restoration? (wants £300) advice appriciated:1zhelp:

I always liked the fastback.... seems a good price to me, but depends how much you need to restore it, but I think it would be worth doing.. parts are still around, well most of them if you go to a specialist air cooled supplier.

If you do restore it, keep us updated of the progress, would be nice to get a full report and picture;)
