The two must be related.
Since the cold has really bitten in my Cab has started taking longer than it used to when finding idle.
Before it would just drop straight to the 5-600rpm mark dead, now it falls to 1000rpm and a few seconds later will drop to 6-700rpm before settling at the normal 5-600rpm.
Also, exhaust pops at around 1500rpm.
Is it possible that the cold weather is affecting the fuel reading giving it a permanent but mild choke, causing the extra gases and making the pop?
