i have cleared the boost pressure control valve (n249) fault by changing the valve on the turbo (part number 03c 145 710 d)
i am now left with just this

also when driving hard i have noticed that the boost gauge will go to full boost until the revs reach about 3500rpm then they drop back to only half boost for the rest of the rev range. when back below 3000rpm the boost goes back to full.

please does any one have any ideas ?????

thanks in advance

Did you get any where with this? My suggestion would be to replace N75

I have now tried, pcv, n75, and the Flap with the position sensor fault (sorry can't remember the name, the silver one towards the rear of the engine). Still getting problems. Think it's time to start looking at turbo and charger now.

Do you have similar problem??

Can that fault be erased? or is it permantly logged?

Sometimes not but mostly can be erased

Will have a think about this one. 'Signal too high' can sometimes mean a poor connection in wiring. Not saying it is definatly that, but had a 'boost pressure sensor, signal too high' fault on a scirocco and it was partially broken wiring at the connector. Worth checking the wiring out.
