Has anyone retro-fitted an RCD310 to a pre2008 Jetta?

As above, Jetta in question 2006 an a 55plate.

Just bought an RCD310 to replace my RCD300 (non-mp3), then realised that it may not be as straight forward as first thought.

What (if any) bits do I need, and how much will they set me back.

i know someone who has fitted one in his 55 plate golf and his MFSW buttons wont all work now, even tho he has coded it correctly, they just wont play ball, apart from that i think it was easy to swap, will ask next time i see him
