Hi guys, first post here so be gentle. My new A6 C7 2.0 TDi (175 BHP) which replaces my 2008 BMW 330d so quite a change.

Spec:-

Oolong Grey
Upgraded 19" PQT Alloys
S-Line Suspension / Xenons / Trim Valcona Leather
Audi Music Interface (AMI)
Driver Information System (DIS)
Bose Surround Sound
Storage Pack

The good[:)]

Very smooth ride even on 19's
Comfortable good build quality
Bose system good - but takes a few weeks to "loose up" - sounds dire from new!

The Bad[:(]

Shocking MPG - about the same as my 330d. Can't get any where near Audi's claimed figures. Always could in the BMW.
Wind noise from round driver mirror at speed.

A few pictures...................

Welcome to VWAF!

Very nice car I must say ;)

Diesels will loosen up with more mileage so expect to see an improvement for another few thousand miles.

Enjoy :biglaugh:

Lovely car. Regarding the mpg, I get 44+ from my 3.0tdi, so expect yours to improve.

Nice car. I looked at one that colour but after 3 black cars in succession, it was too dark for me. my last car was a 320 d Msport edition, had my A6 2 weeks now and very happy with it.
One of the few things I didn't like was the tailpipes so put the proper Audi trims on. Not cheap at £55 from the dealer but makes a huge difference IMO.

I hope it will improve but the one thing i have noticed is that the gearing is quite high to help performance (which is OK) At 70 it's over 2000rpm.

My 330d was mapped to 270BHP/600nm and not missing the performance too much....................honest!

Yes it's an se but with a huge spec as it was an Audi "launch" car. The trims are standard with the s line trim

Nice pics. Have ordered the same one (virtually) but in s-line trim. Hoping to pick up next week! Let us know how the mpg issue settles out. I'm doing low mileage so may take longer for me to get near stated mpg. (God, when I was just a few years younger it was all about mph not mpg; must be getting old!!)

Oh... I meant to ask - where are the front foglights? In the images on the Audi website they appear to be located in the lower grilles on the front bumper. Are they integrated into the headlamp units on your car?

Just curious!

200 mile run today at 65-70mpg gave 52mpg and a total range of 700 miles......thats a bit better but sure it will improve more.

My father has just bought a new diesel, nothing as nice as your Audi he has a 2litre sri insignia estate.
The 1st 1500 miles he was only getting around the early to mid 30's now that the car is up too around 3500 miles it seems to achieve in the region of 43 to the gallon on average, so I think your Audi's fuel consumption will get better.
