Fault Code

Not sure if this is he right place to post sorry if it not.

Hi All

Had this fault code last year on Lupo Sport 16786 ( Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)-Flow Excessive.

Replaced the EGR Valve Light went out for a while but now its come back on with the same fault code.

Have cleaned out throttle bodies and pipes and inlet manifold all clear, clear the code then after 22 miles comes back on same code.

Any ideas to what else keeps triggering it as the EGR valve has been changed and cleaned out numerous times.

The car seems to be running fine no performance issues no fuel ecconomy issues, car idling fine.

Was it easy to change the EGR valve and how much was it? My audi a3 has been having problems and the only fault code there giving me is this exact one, my car cuts out and sometimes wont start!

you need to reset the readiness codes of the egr valve
