Hi guys, recently quoted more than £6K off list price from a dealer for a new A6 2.0tdi S-line auto. Sounded so good I put a deposit down then and there. However now thinking: was this deal too good...fingers crossed!!

Anyone here get a similar or better deal recently?

Welcome to vwaf.

Which dealer was that with? Reason I ask is that soon, I might be ordering a C7 and just gathering some discount figures from around the country.

Thanks. It's a London dealer, deal's not yet in the bag so will wait to see how it pans out before saying any more! Just wanted to get a feel for whether this was a good deal or the norm for this time of year...

Sounds good enough.

I think I got just over 8k off in total, but I had to work exceptionally hard at it.

Defacto they were offering 4k off.

I've done well at £8.7k, excluding partex, then. Additionally, the partex is £700 more than Merc offered.

Hi,

Im looking to order this month, are people still getting the level of discounts mentioned in the posts above at 8/8.7k?

Thanks

Maybe close to that, but the exact discount depends on what spec you're after.

If you want brand new, get a quote from these guys as a starting point to compare against your local dealer: www.drivethedeal.com. Have bought 3 cars through them.

(If you would consider nearly new, do you want my 61 plate 3.0tdi s-line quattro, 4k miles ? I thought I'd p/x'd it against an A8 but the deal fell through due to a problem with the A8)

What colour did you go for? I'm torn between white and silver

I got about £8k on a sline 2l manual. I got it by quoting orange wheels price, less a bit and asking if they could do it. Probably got there right time of the month just after reg change, but I'd imagine deals are still to be done. Has anyone managed such deals on a 3l? I'd be interested for next time, as it's the one thing I wish I'd gone for.

Same as above really. I got just my 2.0 Multi S-Line with just over 20% off. The discount from list was something like £8400.

My discount on a 3.0 SE Avant was about £10k, but I get the impression that the salesman was somewhat disingenuous to his bosses, so I just struck lucky.

Yep 20% discount on my Avant, just quoted the broadspeed price

Hi,
Ordered mine in May and got around £7k off, so you're around the right area. The VW salesman couldn't get anywhere near the same discount. In fact, the price of the 2L TFSI Passat estate was only £1500 cheaper and at a lower level of spec.
Did you add any "goodies" to yours?

Hi,

Quick question : do these discounts being quoted include the extra £2K off for taking Audi finance ? There's also £2K available at present as an extra pt ex contribution in some cases. The odd £2K or £4K here and there makes quite a difference to the discount % !

The deal may have changed, as I only had £1750 towards the deal from Audi Finance, but this was on top of the discounted price for me. They essentially paid half my deposit for the finance agreement.

My discount in April included all the Audi finance discount, plus a bit. Like others came out just over 20%.

Got mine for £8k off list- made up of 10% off list, the £2k enhanced p/ex (the p/ex was in line with other Audi dealers, and more than BMW) plus the £2k for the finance (which I cancelled within 14 days). Southampton Audi, no effort at all for the deal.
