Had our Q7 S-line for 3 years now...

Whilst a private reg, it is a 56 plate, has done 48,000 miles; full Audi service history; retains an extended warranty/ breakdown cover (no breakdowns); it is very well specced (Sat Nav/ reverse camera a must and chrome exhaust trims make it look right); immaculate inside and out; it has had no expense spared on it to keep it driving and looking tip top (it has been expensive); and it really is a nice 'shiny looking car'.

We had a Disco 3 HSE before the Q7 and are torn between:

A. Keeping the Q7 and upgrading to the facelifted lights (but that would cost over £2000 unless I'm looking in the wrong places/ is it really worth it).

B. Buying a used Q7 facelift model with 'the lights' (but not sure when next facelift Q7 is due/ don't want to pay approx £35,000 for a soon to be 'old shape' car... if in fact that is the case).

C. Buying a Disco 4... but HSE prices are high and XS sounds like it will fall just short of Spec we're used to with last Disco and our current Q7).

The Q7 and Disco are both great cars. Would gladly have either. Both are hugely practical and difficult to park to boot! Obviously the Q7 has the driver edge... on tarmac at least!

Big part of me says keep the mint Q7 that we've got... but as we privately own it and will need to make up the pricde difference between what we get for the Q7 and the next car... now might be the time to sell (we always sell privately too because trade ins just seems to be a kick in the teeth).

Any views welcome...
