Hi, I have a 54 reg Audi a4 (B7) 2.0t and the engine managment light comes on stating:

Mode 03: Emission related fault code
Address 7E8
p0089 - Valve for fuel metering (N290) Implausible Signal

I think the valve at the top of the fuel pump, the one which the electrical connector plugs in to needs replacing but I think I have to buy the whole fuel pump to get this bit, is this correct?

Has Audi replaced this fuel pump with another? The part number is 06F 127 025 B and I read somewhere it might have changed to 06F 127 025 F.

Any help on this would be grate.
Thanks,
Kevin.

Hi Kevin. My a4 has done the same. Have you had it sorted. My engine management light has been on for a week now.
Thanks.
Mark.

Get it scanned for faults?

An engine light can mean anything.
