Hi all,
I have a A4 S-Line TDi saloon and the demister in the rear screen has started to really struggle clearing the screen, if at all.
No errors are showing up on my VAG diags relating to this ( a couple of the glow plugs need changing but that's another story althogether! Thanks Audi for making that an overly awkward job!! :-))
The mirrors still clear ok (assuming they are on the same circuit as they are controlled by the same switch??). I never store anything on the rear shelf so would not have thought that the element in the glass would be damaged in any way.
Any guidance or ideas would be great as my next step would be to look at rear screen replacement and I am not sure this would be covered under my insurance's glass policy as the glass itself is not damaged.
