Sensor and Breather Pipe
Hi All,
The Engine Management Light on my Audi A2 1.4 petrol has come on again.
Last time this happened I had the throttle cleaned and a breather pipe cleaned out.
I have just cleaned the throttle myself but that hasn't cleared the light.
However the pipe that comes up the back of the engine and joins the air intake box attached to the throttle feels as if it is full of gunk. Also on that pipe is a sensor. I think this is the MAP sensor. This is very hot, whilst the pipe is not. Shorting out the sensor does clear the Engine Management Light.
Removing the pipe or the sensor for cleaning looks an imposible task due to access. Has anyone done this?
