I'm about to purchase a new Passat 2.0 TDi SE. I'm considering forking out the extra for leather but aren't sure whether it's worth the extra. Can anybody tell me what the quality is like? The perforated pattern looks in the brochure as if it's not as nice as the Nappa leather offered on sport and SEL models but the pictures are small.

Also, how much of a discount can dealers give on it?

I have the nappa leather on Sports seats, pretty expensive option but the sports seats are great and most people who get in the car comment on them. I was not a big fan myself of the SE seats as the seat base looks decidedly flat with little side bolster support. This was one of the reasons I shyed away from buying an SE. Of course you do get heated seats with either leather option which is a nice bonus over other makes like Audi :)
