I have resently Bought an Audi A4 avant sline (170) which my wife is driving in the Uk, as i work over sees. She has had a engine managment light come on the car which i have posted below, I would like ask if any of the members could tell me what the problem is before she takes into the main dealer and what to expect to pay to remedy it or indeed can it be remedied without the main dealer. Also i'd like to thank the forum members of the excellent thread on Injectors on the 170 a4, found15387 it very helpfull. Car is now booked into check all injectors are new type after contacting Audi UK.

They can be reset by a good hard drive, online it says a good 5 miles keeping the revs above 2000 for the duration, couple of motorway junctions i guess

Apparently it should be in your manual.

Make sure you trust the garage because a new one is expensive and it probably is a sensor if the quick drive doesn't work.

Google 'regen dpf audi' and all will be revealed

It's quite common with town driven cars, the dpf needs a good blow out and regen

Sorry for the delay in updates, dpf filter warning light followed by a second light. desided to take it to the main dealer to look at it and have a look at whether the injectors had been replaced on it whilst it was in there. Sensor gone so it was replaced £233.88, all four injectors replaced whilst it was there thank you to Audi Uk. Thank you again for you help everyone. I love this forum
