Am I b6 or b7 ???

Hi all. Not quite sure if Ive got a b6 or b7 hope someone can help. My car is an a4 3.0tdi avant Quattro registered in nov 2004 on a 54 plate. It has the drop down grill and has xenons fitted. The rear lights go into the tailgate. I thought that it would be a b6 because of the reg date but have been told that it is a b7 cos of the grill and lights. Any help wold b greatly received.

If there are lights in the boot lid then it's a B7

Definitely b7. The 3.0tdi was only available in b7 upwards.

Thanks For the reply Chris. I've just got the car and was unsure of the model type. the place I bought it from said it was the first of the ones with the drop grill but he didn't know the difference between b6 and b7 (independent garage). He also said the bulb failure light and flickering xenon headlights were probably down to damp in the loom or something like that and I shouldn't really worry, needless to say he has since had to replace the bulbs at his expense. So no confidence there then. The forum looks very impressive and I thank you again for the speedy reply.
