Hi guys, I'm new here. I recently bought a mk3 golf tdi, and I was wondering whether anyone could help me out.

The clutch pedal seems ok to start with, however after a few minutes of driving, the pedal seems to stick at the bottom of its travel (should usually come back up by its own accord), to rectify this problem I have to use my foot to bring it back up. If you ignore it, then it eventually does not allow me to select a gear.

I showed this to my friend yesterday and he said that it would be the clutch slave cylinder. I had a new one fitted today (bled the system too). However the problem still remains. This is driving me crazy!!!

Can anyone please help?

If the clutch pedal is easy to lift up the fault is the clutch master cylinder not the slave cylinder skoda have the same fault
