I had the battery replaced today & now the radio needs a code to unlock it. The handbook says contact dealer I did & they want £30 ............£30!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can get another radio on eBay for less than that! Seat head office can't help. The radio is 10 years old I don't want to spend £30 on an old set would VCDS scan for it?
Or any other ideas please.
OK cancel the question after a further try it according to the handbook has the 'comfort encoding' & after a further try it displayed 'SAFE - LEARNING - then went into normal working mode why it didn't do it the first few tries I dont know!?
