Hi.

I'm sure I found it previously on this forum but I'll be darned if I can find it now! :Blush2:

I want t oturn off the "Service Now" warning from the dash and I seem to recall that it involves tuurning the clock adjusting knob clockwise, whilst pushing in the Odometer reset knob, whilst turning on the ignition (with your third hand :biglaugh:) whilst you close your right eye and whistle "Scotland The Brave" in C Minor.

can anyone please confirm where I'm going wrong, as I can't get it to work this time around.

It's a 2005 Passat tdi

Fixed distance service reset
Start with ignition off.
Hold trip meter button in and turn ignition on.
'SERVICE' should be displayed on the LCD panel
Release trip button
Turn clock button to right to reset.
Turn ign OFF

If this don't work. Repeat but don't release the trip button.
