Been a while since I've been on here but in the mean time I got myself another corrado, just a 16v with 180K mls but FSH. Swapped for a set of 17" mk5 gti wheels.

My plans are to fit a 1.8t engine in it that was originally intended for my mk1, the 16v will now go in the mk1 cos my wife wants to drive the mk1 and she didn't like the idea of the turbo in it.

I have all the parts so hopefully it wont be long before it running:biglaugh:

Here she is.

This section of the forum seems a little slow so thought I'd make an update to mine

I have made some changes since buying it in 2011

We rebuilt this beauty in 2009 with a genuine VAG exchange VR6, full running gear rebuild and beautiful paint job with In Pro lights all round, for a customer we had been working for over the previous two decades, a brilliant bloke called Big Ken. Before lockdown in very early 2020 he brought it in for a major overhaul and then passed away, one of those terrible facts of getting old is friends and loved ones leave us. We still have it and need to do some MOT welding but it could go to a loving owner. The interior is very light grey full leather over everything (including the dash) with a green Alcantara roof lining which is stunning. If anyone has serious interest I can pass the details on to his estate.
