Purchasing an 07 Polo 1.2 S

Hi all,

My m8 has just passed his test and is looking at purchasing the above, just wondered if you could give me any pointers on what to look out for, or if there are any obvious issues with the 07 plates?

Had someone tell me the clutch isnt great so maybe not a good car for first time driver?
