Telephone Module Query

Hoping that someone may be able to help! I have been looking at getting the bluetooth module retrofitted to my car and having now finally bought all of the parts, I remove the drivers seat only to find the whole system is already installed!? When I press the phone button on the MMI, I get a message saying 'Telephone not installed'! Can anyone explain this? How do I get it working?

turn on the car ignition, search with your phones bluetooth and see if it finds Audi UHV.
if you find UHV connect phone.

Thanks for your suggestion! Gave it a try but my phone was not able to find anything. Do you have any other ideas?

Could be that the module has failed.

Try a VAGCOM scan and see if communication with the module is possible.
