Auto headlights on, when its light outside

My A4s Auto setting for the headlights is playing up, it is turning the lights on when its light outside and turning the satnav to night colours, any ideas other than a broke sensor?

There is a sensor setting for this which can be adjusted with VCDS (VAG-COM), however if it has suddenly started doing this then I would suspect the sensor.
