LCD display on head unit

Collected my 2006 2.7 tdi today and my only fault is the bottom line on the lcd head unit display has died. Anyone know of anywhere that can fix this or is fixing it not an economical option. Im not 100% certain what head unit it is, all i know is the car has the bose upgrade.

Other than that im thrilled to bits with the car :-)

Its my first Audi but not my first VAG, i've jumped ship from the skoda octavia pond. After 6 octavias i finally decided to try the premium VAG range.

I hope you are refering to the DIS inbetween the clocks? I had the same problem on a B5 Audi A4 and did find a tutorial online that outlined a fix. It did look quite complicated so I never bothered to attempt it mind you.

Just buy another stereo from EBay, they are pretty cheap these days. Having BOSE makes no difference either as they all use the same headunits regardless.
