Returning member

Hi there everyone, I am a returning member to this forum after a very brief stint a few years back when I was on the lookout for an A4, however I have owned several BMW's and decide to stay faithful to the brand buying an Alpina D3. Its been a great car economy wise but the spec is very poor and last winter it spent about a month in my garage as its total <removed> in snow and ice. I am now on the lookout for a nice A5 but don't know much about them. Looking briefly I know I want either the 2.7 or 3.0 diesel quattro and auto is a must. Suggestions would be most welcome and is there anything to be aware of? Thanks in advance, Andy.

Yeah, forum looks a lot better. I went into Sytner Audi yesterday to see if they had any A5's to look at but my wife and I were very drawn to a black S3 in the show room so we are now on the lookout for an S3 sportback with an s-tronic gearbox.
