Re:Audi TT 2001. Would anyone know if its possible to tweak the A/C to make it colder. Had a Nissan 200 sx prior and it would freeze the legs of you but the TT is not great. Dont think it needs a re-fill yet. Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for joining the site.

If the car has never had a re-gas, it could be low on refrigerant. They recommend you having an air-con service every 2 years, changing the pollon filter, re-gas and lubricate the AC system.

I own a 2 year ol Seat Leon, and I have just had the Ac serviced on that, The system should have 750g of gas, after 2 years, it had 530g in. Seemed to improve mine. As the loss is gradual, you tend not to notice how poor it has become.

So it could just need a service.

Thanks

Stuart

I think that I have the same problem. Are there any specialist service places, other than just any garage.... I have heard that it costs about £100, is that right...
