Hi folks,

I have 2 Audi's

2002 A4 1.8T sport petrol
2005 A4 2.0 turbo quattro petrol

I was wondering if anyone knows of a budget code reader maybe in the £20-50 range that will read and reset fault codes and warning lamps on both these models.

I have been doing some basic searching on the internet, but would hate to spend money and find out it wont work.

Just wondering if anyone has one and knows it will do the job, even cable and software option would do.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I bought a V checker Pro from Awesome GTI I understand it is over the budget you mentioned but it is quite good as a hand held reader.
You can read the fault codes and erase them
You can look at the measuring blocks in the controllers very handy and geeky
You can change block adaptions but you would need to be very brave as you cannot get a full block scan or print out of controller set up's

It is not VAGCOM but I was also on a budget but the gadget has already paid for it's self with the repair's I have carried out.

Cars used on so far

1999 A4 TDI
2003 Skoda Octavia
2007 A4
