Squeaking glove box

Hi all,
Have 2010 cc 170 GT that am generally pleased with but has developed an almost continuous squeaking from the glove box lid:zx11:. If I press upwards on the bottom of the lid (against the hinge) then it disappears and then comes back straight away. Have sprayed Wd40 in the general location of the hinge pivots but hasnt sorted it. Any ideas on how/what to tighten or adjust something???

are you sure it's not the section where the manual is kept?

I took my 2011 GT into the dealer yesterday for correction of a rattling glove box lid - it seems to have been fixed. Why don't you get your dealer to sort it under warranty?
