Hi All,

Perhaps a stupid question from a newbie (a probable lazy newbie at that, as I am sure it has been asked before) :o so please be gentle with me, but I am looking to get my hands on the 19" 7 double spoke design alloy wheels (as fitted to the s-line special edition) for my car to replace the standard 18" S-Line ones. I have found some on ebay with this audi part no 4F0601025BA, but the ad does make reference to TT / A6 / S6. Will they fit my car?

Maybe I shouldn't have been so tight and paid the extra when I bought the car last year ;)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Orth

I don't think they will, I had a buckled alloy so was looking out on fleabay as well, the part number for the 19" RS4 rep that is fitted to the A4 s-line is 8K0 601 025AA, the B8 A4 has a bore size of 66.5mm instead of 57mm for the rest of Audi models, I think the only other Audi models that have the same bore size are the A5.

From the ******** the cost is something like £622 per wheel :-0

As an aside be careful when buying 19" alloys off ebay, they do buckle easier than 18's, so make sure you ask the right questions before buying !

A5 wheels have the same middle size etc. BUT! have a different offset which wil put your front rims running in line with your wing.

The correct spec for "OEM" A4 B8 19 inch wheels is:-

8.5J X 19 et (offset) 43

Tyres:-

255/35R19 96Y XL

Thanks buddy,

Trying to get hold of the right wheels is proving horribly difficult, or should I say it is when you dont want to spend the £570 or so per wheel plus VAT that a dealer wants and thats before buying rubber for them... :(

Would never pay Dealershit prices for wheels EVER!! The A5 ones that I bought were 700ish pounds from a private seller (and brand new! OEM), they were manufactured by BBS for AUDI.

Stick some winter tyres on your 18`s (something you will not regret!) and wait for four 19 inch wheels to fall into your lap for a normal price, try motortalk.de for Germans offloading their alloys:biglaugh:. I have an almost brand new set of 255/35 R19 96Y XL tyres in me garage that all have over 7.5 mm tread left:approve: (But they are in Germany:aargh4:).

I've had the same problem 19's are rocking horse poo, have a look over at audizine.com, they have a sweet wheel gallery if you want to go down the aftermarket route.

You can get the same wheel's as Dunk's, Audi does them in an 19x8.5j fit too, last i saw on ebay where just under £1k from an Audi dealer.

Cheers Dunk,

So to be clear, the wheels I have seen seem to be for an A6 or TT or B7 A4? Will the actually fit my car or does the bore size thing mean they wouldnt fit? they are 8.5J and tyre size quoted is 255/35/19. Sorry, I'm not very good at this.... :( ;)

Failing that, I could go for the ones like you have on your car I guess, do you have a full side photograph at all?

Regards
