Hi all, please go easy this is my first real post.
I was taking out an old car kit that was fitted in my 06 A4 last night and was removing a dummy cigarette lighter installed in the void above the fuse box that was used to power the cradle.
While removing it, I knocked out what looks like a sensor (a 2-3" thin flat metal bar connected to the wiring) that fitted up into the dash with a rubber washer. Im having problems getting to go back up into the dash.
it doesn't seem to have had any effect on the car. Does anyone have any idea what this could? Im panicing a bit.
