TT roadster roof problem

Hi all.

I’m in desperate need of help with TT roadster roof problem. Top line it doesn’t work.

It’s been to Audi twice, the first time they replaced the lock assembly (A8J7 871 401 A 018927). The second time they replaced the left flap motor (A8J0 959 311 A).

Unfortunately this worked for a few weeks but then the roof stopped working again. Being slightly disenchanted with Audi I opted to an independent Audi specialist. They diagnosed the fault code 03247 which is the right flap motor a couple of weeks ago. On Saturday they replaced this component but the above fault is still showing. They tried all he could yesterday, giving the car a full reset. Having stumped them I’m asking for your help before I go back to Audi……

Has anyone had a similar problem? What was the issue?

Hi mate. Did you have any joy on this problem? I've registered to see if I can get any advice with the roof on my TT

The roof goes down and folds into the back compartment fine. However, both the flappy panelson the side do not want to go down. I can hear the electrics running but no joy. Last time I had the roof down must have been in Oct-11
