Hello Forum, I'm Mark and I'd like some advice before Maybe damaging my engine . I've bought a tuning-box to increase power from 130 to 155 bhp, my problem is that the plug is only a 2 pin connector and I'm worried this is only a resistor in a fancy box.I thought if it was a proper tuning box it would have the round multi-pin plugs . Anybody here able to help., Thanks, Mark

See www.tdi-tuning.com (http://www.tdi-tuning.com/) .

PS, Yeah, I know, I should've checked before buying.

It is exactly what you think you have bought. Do not fit it as you will experience a rough idle when warm and the computer will tell you that you are doing about 55 mpg but your fuel guage will tell you otherwise. The unit simply creates a resistance in the fuel temp sensor making the car effectively run rich. I took off the one i purchased and got a refund.
if you want more performance do it properly and have a remap which will give you 30 hp and 40 lbft costing around £180.:biglaugh:
